+Combat Mechanics
Combat on this site is based on a turn-based system that uses free-form; each post needs to be written out and explained what your character is doing. Writing a super lengthy post will never ensure your victory on this site. The second and most important part of combat is that we use a unique "Character Action Selection" tool that each role-player will have to pick and choose what action their character will take next. Remember, Actions must correspond with your character's build, weapon, skill set, and inventory.
Character Action Selection: (CAS)
Actions Per Turn: Actions that can be used during your turn.
1/1 Basic Attack Action - Basic attack includes using a weapon or melee.
1/1 Skill Action - The usage of skills
1/1 Dodge Action - To evade
1/1 Counter Action - To counter or parry
1/1 Bonus Action - Allows the use of items
Guarding is a free action
Actions Per Battle: Actions that can only be used once during combat.
Passive Skills - Activating a passive skill
Perk Skills - Some Perks can be used as skills in battle
Combat Realism:
Stamina and Health do not restore over time on this site without proper means such as Healing spells, Healing potion, and of course stamina potion. To naturally restore stamina without having to buy, or spend gold. Characters can recover all stamina by resting at a Homestead, Inn, or by setting up Camp and Tent. (Camping outside may result in Ambushes). Health only recovers via Health Potions; waiting to heal certain effects can cause long-term damage.
Speed vs Accuracy:
To evade (Dodge) certain attacks character (A) speed stat will have to be one rank higher than character (B) accuracy stat. In the case of character (B) speed stat being higher than character (A) by two ranks, then character (A) will struggle with evading attacks due to the reason character (B) has high-speed stats and high accuracy stats.
In close-quarter combat speed vs accuracy comes into play, because this determines a character's reaction time vs the chances of another character hitting their target.
Passive Skills - Activating a passive skill
Perk Skills - Some Perks can be used as skills in battle
