+Armor
All characters have three types of equipment they can equip: armor, weapon, and items.
Except for items, armor and weapons can be flavored however you like. The flavor of the weapon or armor has no impact on the Combat Mechanics. The only thing that matters with equipment is that Weapon Rank (WR) and Armor Rank (AR), which indicate how powerful they are. WR and AR also provide bonuses for your character's actions. The separation between the RPG Mechanics and the flavor allows you to fully customized your character equipment how you see fit. If you want to run a defense build with magical buffs then you'll mostly choose a cross between heavy and light armor. While someone who wants to run a Rouge build would mainly use Light or Medium Armor. Armor has a set which means you'll have; Head, Torso, Arms, and Legs/Boots which all provide your character with a buff. Having a complete Heavy, Medium, or Light set will have a higher buff vs mix and matching.

Armor durability is based solely on Rank which is also the grade of the weapon. Once your Armor durability hits 0 your armor will break and expose your character to lethal attacks.
